IZE.SMART — Intelligent Energy Consumption Moderator

Solwena Sp. z o.o. is implementing a project co-financed by European Funds.

The aim and achieved outcome of the project is: Development of a neural-network-based intelligent cloud platform IZE.SMART that optimises energy consumption to maintain a defined comfort level in office and public utility buildings, based on comfort models of building zones, reducing metering requirements and enabling multi-criteria management of renewable energy sources.

The project is carried out in partnership with Tapptic Poland Sp. z o.o.

Export Initiative — Norwegian Market

Project objectives

The aim of the project is to launch export activity on the Norwegian market through:

  • Domestic activities: target market analysis, assessment of the company’s and product’s potential, development of a business model and market entry strategy, analysis of legal and formal aspects of international expansion;
  • Foreign activities: legal verification for obtaining documents required to introduce the product to the Norwegian market, participation in a trade fair and exhibition, promotional activities including articles and advertising materials about the internationalised product.

Expected results

The outcome of the project will be the establishment of cooperation, signing of foreign commercial contracts, and generation of revenue from export activity.

PnP Percee — Plug&Play Technology

Solwena Sp. z o.o. is implementing the project “PnP Percee – Plug&Play (PnP) technology automating the connection and integration of building infrastructure systems (loads, generators, multipliers and energy storage) with the Percee platform managing energy efficiency in industrial facilities as well as commercial and public utility buildings”, financed from EU funds under the Operational Programme European Funds for a Modern Economy 2021–2027, “SMART Pathway”.

The project concerns research and development work resulting in the development of an innovative Plug&Play technology called PnP Percee, which automates the process of connecting and integrating building infrastructure devices — including HVAC, lighting, PV panels, cogeneration systems, heat pumps, wind turbines, energy storage, etc. — with the Percee energy management system. The goal is for this process to take place without or with minimal involvement from staff and/or users, in a self-service model.

The project is divided into 4 tasks covering:

  1. Standardisation of technical characteristics of individual building infrastructure devices.
  2. Automation of the recognition of technical characteristic profiles across device operating ranges.
  3. Definition of cooperation rules between individual devices aimed at optimal energy consumption management.
  4. Verification of the Plug&Play (PnP) technology for connecting and integrating building infrastructure devices with the Percee energy management system under real-world conditions.

The result of the project will be the innovative PnP Percee technology, which will set the development path for EMS (Energy Management System) solutions by eliminating time-consuming stages of connecting building devices, manual data entry for device types and combinations, selection of relevant technical parameters, initial rule sets and algorithms, and regulation methods. These processes will be automated using advanced AI methods.

Within the project, funding will cover salaries of the R&D team as well as the purchase of laptops and software.

Target groups: building/office operators, industrial facilities, public sector, other SME recipients.
